The paper knife (called Shito), which has been attached to the inkstone box since ancient times for separating the scrolls after writing on them, has been reprinted in the modern age.

The surface is finished with Iji-nuri, using real dry lacquer powder.
The rough surface not only has a beautiful appearance, but it is also durable and does not easily show scratches, making it easy to use on a daily basis.

Comes in a special wooden box

The paper knife will be delivered in a wooden box with a special velvet cushion.
