A cup that emits gorgeous colors

Whereas conventional hon-urushi lacquer is basically opaque and has subdued tones, research into lacquer refining methods has resulted in a new hon-urushi lacquer with high transparency and vivid colors.
By applying the new lacquer on top of the foil, a colorful shimmering effect never seen before is produced.

Three colors are available: red, green, and yellow, and the inside is lacquered in black.
The wood base is made of natural wood that has been dried thoroughly and hollowed out by rokuro.
The cup is 9 cm tall and lightweight, and the soft texture of the lacquer enhances the flavor of the beverage.
