The box with a luxurious maki-e lacquerwork depicting a scene of early spring, when a zosterops japonicus calling for spring is dwelling in the branches of a camellia tree.
The camellia flowers are decorated with beautiful colors of white and red lacquer and gold maki-e.
And also the camellias are made of thick and luxurious mother-of pearl, and the shimmering pale blue color is attractive.
The inside is plain black and there are no partitions.
One of the charms is the elegant form with rounded corners.
