The design of paulownia and bamboo is considered auspicious because of the legend of the phoenix, which is said to live in the paulownia tree and eat the fruit of the bamboo to live eternal life and happiness.
This bowl has an atmospheric beauty reminiscent of the presence of a phoenix under the shade of paulownia and bamboo leaves.

The back of the lid and the inside of the bowl are simple black with no design.
